  • Can the beds be pushed apart?
    Some rooms have twin beds that can be pushed apart if required. This is possible in the rooms 303 and 305.
  • What does the stay with children look like?
    We look forward to welcoming you and your children. We are happy to provide a cot for your baby (up to 1 year old). Due to lack of space, it is unfortunately not possible to provide additional beds in the rooms beyond the number of people offered. Our suites are ideal for families with plenty of space.
  • Will my credit card be charged prior to arrival?
    Your credit card serves as security for the booking. You will be charged the full amount up to 7 days prior to arrival.
  • Is Roosevelt Stadthaus a classic hotel?
    For us, luxury means the well-being and privacy of our guests. We emphasise high-quality equipped rooms, a cosy lobby, the protection of the historic building and everything else our guests need for a beautiful and relaxing stay. We do not have a 24-hour reception and do not offer breakfast or room service. For an extra charge we will be happy to clean your room in between and change the towels as well.
  • How can I change bookings that have already been made?
    If you want to make changes to a booking that has already been made you can contact us directly at any time. We will be happy to help you with your request at
  • Is there an elevator in the house?
    After about 20 steps you will reach our elevator, which will take you to the accommodation.
  • What are the cancellation conditions?
    We accept free cancellation of your reservation up to 3 pm, 8 days before arrival. This will only be accepted in written form. After that 50% will be charged in the event of cancellation. Up to 24 hours before your arrival we allow ourselves to charge 100%.
  • Is breakfast served at Roosevelt?
    Unfortunately we do not offer breakfast at the Roosevelt Stadthaus. However, we have some recommendations for you in the immediate vicinity.
  • What time is check in? What time is check out?
    You can check in with us between 3pm and 7pm. We ask you to arrange your exact check in time with us. Late check in is also possible on request. In the morning we ask you to leave the room or suite by 11 am.
  • Can I leave my luggage at the townhouse after check out?
    You are very welcome to leave your luggage with us after check out until you continue your journey.
  • What are the parking options around the townhouse?
    Monday to Friday between 9 am and 10 pm parking in the streets of Vienna is subject to a fee and is permitted for a maximum of two hours. There is a public garage - Otto Wagnerplatz Garage - two minutes from us. Instead of the normal daily rate of €37, we can offer you the hotel rate of €17 for a 24-hour stay.
  • How do I get to the Roosevelt Stadthaus?
    From Vienna-Schwechat Airport you can either use a limousine service that we can order especially for you. Or you can take a taxi at the airport. The CAT City Airport Train is available as public transport. It leads to Wien-Mitte Landstraße, from where you can take the subway U4 to the Schottenring station, take the U2Z or 1 tram to Schottentor and then take the 43 or 44 tram one stop (to Landesgerichtsstrasse). After a 2-minute walk you have reached your destination. You can also take a taxi from Vienna Hauptbahnhof to us. Or you can use public transport: Take the subway U1 in the direction of Leopoldau to Karlsplatz and change to one of the tram lines D or 71 or U2Z to the Schottentor stop. From there continue with tram line 43 or 44 one stop to Landesgerichtsstrasse. After a 2 minute walk you have reached The Roosevelt Stadthaus.
  • Is there WiFi in the hotel?
    Of course we have stable WiFi connection in all rooms.
