General Terms and Conditions
§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to bookings made through the website and the online booking system of Roosevelt Stadthaus.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract
A room is considered bindingly reserved once the guest has received a written booking confirmation from Roosevelt Stadthaus.
§ 3 Prices, Taxes and Charges
The prices shown include statutory VAT of 10% and the City of Vienna local tax (city tax), currently 5%.
§ 4 Payment and Cancellation Conditions
The payment and cancellation conditions depend on the booking option or rate selected by the guest.
Flexible Rate
A free cancellation or modification of the reservation is possible up to 7 days before the day of arrival. For cancellations or modifications made 6 to 1 day before arrival, 50% of the total amount will be charged. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
Payment is made on site. The credit card provided serves as a guarantee. Roosevelt Stadthaus reserves the right to pre-authorize the credit card for the expected amount before arrival.
Non-Refundable Rate
This rate offers a price advantage compared to the flexible rate. In return, the booking cannot be cancelled, modified or credited free of charge once it has been completed.
The total amount will be charged to the credit card provided before arrival. In case of cancellation, modification or no-show, no refund will be granted.
§ 5 Credit Card and Payment Guarantee
The guest is required to provide valid credit card details. If the credit card is invalid, authorization is not possible or a due payment cannot be processed, Roosevelt Stadthaus is entitled to cancel the booking.
§ 6 No Statutory Right of Withdrawal
For accommodation services booked for a specific period, there is no general statutory right of withdrawal. The agreed cancellation conditions apply.
§ 7 Arrival and Departure
Unless otherwise agreed, the booked room will be available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.
§ 8 House Rules, Non-Smoking Policy and Damages
The guest agrees to comply with the house rules of Roosevelt Stadthaus. Roosevelt Stadthaus is a non-smoking property. The guest is liable under the statutory provisions for any damage caused by the guest or for any special cleaning costs incurred.
§ 9 Applicable Law
Austrian law applies. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
