Welcome to Roosevelt, the most personal and private of Vienna’s townhouses. A grand late-19th-century townhouse, located directly by the Votive Church on Rooseveltplatz. A place for those who wish to experience Vienna in a more personal, spacious and private way, without giving up the comfort, personal care and discreet luxury of a hotel. The house carries a remarkable history: Arthur Schnitzler once lived here, Adolf Loos designed parts of its interiors, and after the war the first meeting for the reopening of the University of Vienna took place within the building. Museums, palaces, gardens and imperial buildings are just a few steps away, making the townhouse an ideal starting point for days in the city. At the same time, Roosevelt remains a retreat defined by calm, character and a distinctive Viennese sense of living
