Our townhouse is rich in history: after 1945, the University of Vienna reopened its doors here; Arthur Schnitzler was once a resident; Adolf Loos designed parts of the interiors; and the building itself was designed by renowned architect Emil von Förster.
Museums, palaces, gardens and imperial landmarks are just a few steps away. At the same time, the Roosevelt remains a peaceful retreat with the distinctive atmosphere of a Viennese home.

The Roosevelt Stadthaus was built during Vienna’s Gründerzeit era, and its architecture continues to define the spaces today. Historic windows, high ceilings and the proportions of the original building have been carefully preserved. The interiors complement this historic fabric with natural materials and clean lines. Just a few steps away are the Ringstrasse, the Votive Church and the University of Vienna.
